We are currently seeking candidates for a Large Format Print Production Operator position. Working as a Large Format Machine Operator, you would set-up, adjust, and operate all relevant equipment to produce quality finished products, that meet customer specifications, and completed in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Business Title Bobst Die-cutter Operator

Job Function Die-cut machine operator

Job Description Operate Bobst Die-cutting machine
Key Responsibilities
  • Helping with the preparation of all tooling,
  • Making ready the press while running the press,
  • Completing quality checks, maintaining required paperwork,
  • Inspecting all tooling for preventive maintenance recommendations upon completion of a job.
  • Adheres to the press schedule.
  • Performs line purge and line clearances of the equipment.
  • Performs make ready according to the size and style copy in the batch record.
  • Completes in process quality checks and paperwork.
  • Segregates defective material and cautions loads as needed.
  • Assists with the stripping of waste from non-blanked die cut sheets.
  • Monitors work in process lanes for folder gluers and when full, stops cutting process and notifies supervisor for reassignment.
  • Where possible, works with 1st pressman to notify of improvement opportunities.
  • Works with folder mechanic and adjusts die cutting run to optimize flow through the cell as needed.
  • Performs preventative maintenance on the press as required.
  • Performs all other duties assigned by management.
  • Performs various postpress works inclduing folding and binding assigned by management.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5+ years of experience as a die cutter operator is required. 
  • Applicants must be able to read, write legibly, follow verbal & written instructions,
  • perform basic math calculations dealing with weights, dimensions & quantity.
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Good mechanical aptitude.
  • Dependable and willing to work flexible hours, including overtime

Business Title 2nd Press Operator 40" KBA or Heidelberg

Job Function Manufacturing

Job Description 2nd Press Operator 8 am to 5 pm
Key Responsibilities Review job ticket and stage required plates, ink and stock, based on furnished job specifications.
Assist operator with all make ready registration.
Replenish stock, ink and any other consumables as required.
Assist operator with wash up and shut down.
Maintain established checkpoints and procedures.
Perform routine preventative maintenance.
Observe and adhere to established company policies pertaining to housekeeping, safety, lock out tag out and proper handling and disposal of hazardous waste.
Other duties as required or assigned by supervisor.
Qualifications High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, preferred.
Good mechanical aptitude.
Dependable and willing to work flexible hours, including overtime
